NDI's Mobile ANPR / ALPR Systems allow for additional reach into areas for tactical operations, proactive policing, and intelligence gathering. NDI's Mobile Systems offer versatility, ease of use, and unmatched performance.
A typical Mobile ANPR / ALPR system consists of up to four (4) V2 Series Cameras, commonly mounted on the roof of the police vehicle. The cameras capture color context images and Infrared (IR) images of license / number plates, and send the images to a VP Series Processor, typically installed in the trunk of the vehicle. The processor uses the Talon ANPR / ALPR Engine to locate license / number plates in the images and compares the plate reads to any number of hotlists as managed by the VISCE Back Office. TheVeriPlate software interface works silently in the background, and alerts the officer to any plates of interest.
